Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor who is famous for his role on the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. In college, he began to pursue a passion for acting. In the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was studying acting. While he's appeared in both films and television, but it was his character on the smaller screen that gave him popularity and much fans. He has the ability to portray both characters from the side of the police and the different. That's what makes him so popular. The first show he worked on was a television show, however, he was later an officer for the NYPD. The small screen performances of his have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. It is his trademark piercing, blue eyes which have been said to make him look handsome. They've helped him convey rough characters in a charismatic manner. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
