Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on her role on the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series. Other roles she has played are Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She was a theatre student through Northwestern University and spent a year studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for several years, before attempting TV and movie role. In 1992 Anna got her first major character as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. Anna continued to appear in movies and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late 1990's. Anna was later placed in The Practice as Jean Ward. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. Skyler appeared in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully in addition to Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part audio play podcast called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and eventual end resembles the end of Walter White's life.
